The newest group of Takfiri fascist to become pawns of a power group is ISIS. The cycle of using Takfiri fascist to wage wars continues. The very first being the Saud family which we used by the British to topple the Ottomans, countless other (mis) adventures have followed. Use of taliban (aka Mujahideen) against the Soviets by the United States. The use of very same ideology against Bashir Al Asad of Syria by western powers and their Gulf allies. It has become clear that Takfiri fascists are very hijackable useful idiots.
Iraq had been ruled by the Sufi Sunni elite of the Naqshbandi order and more recently secular Bathists for the past five hundred years. Noori Al Maliki had the challenging and conflicted task of on the one hand de-Ba’th-ify and on the other hand empower Sunnis into the new Shia dominated Iraq. It is clear that Maliki was successful at neither, it should be noted that achieving these conflicted goals was no easy task. There is a lot of overlap between the Sunni Sufi Nashbandis and the former Sadam Ba’thist.
The Army of the Men of the Naqshbandi Path (djaysh ridjāl al-ṭarīqah al-naqshbandiyyah, also known as JRTN): This group is mainly associated with members of the old Baʿth military leadership and is said to be under the guidance of ʿIzzat Ibrāhīm al-Dūrī. The insurgency group was officially established in 2006 to fight the occupying coalition forces and the Shīʿī dominated and Iranian backed government (although members of it fought against the coalition forces since the fall of the regime in 2003). It’s organization reflects older Baʿth military networks as well as former Baʿth-Sufi connections.
It is clear from the above article that it was not simply a few hundred jihadi ISIS fighters from Syria that drove off the the Iraqi Army from Mosul, there was an enormous ammount of Ba’thist support.
Q: Is ISIS prevailing among other insurgent Iraqi groups? Many reports are saying ISIS represents only a small part of the uprising against Iraqi government. While Iraqi ex vice-President Izzat Duri is leading “Naqshabandi Men” and has the upper hand. Do you confirm?
A: “ A Naqshabandi can be sneaky but they can’t do as they are pleased in Iraq. For example, ISIS has absorbed IAI slowly. Some days back, in Diyala, IAI gave allegiance to ISIS making us as the largest group. As far as it concerns Izzat Duri, he can’t do anything about ISIS expansion. Any wrong move and it will turn ugly. So far, none of these they groups attacked ISIS or backstabbed it. Moreover, It is important to keep in mind that Mosul is the Iraqi Baath party birthplace. Nobody can deny that many groups are involved and fight alongside ISIS but its ISIS that calls the shots. For example its ISIS banners (Banner of monotheism) that is flying high, same thing in Baiji, Tikrit and other towns. But yes, ISIS is not fighting alone as the government claims”.

ISLAMIC STATE IN IRAQ AND THE LEVANT (ISIS)While Isis has grabbed headlines around the world, there can be a tendency to overstate its role in the insurgency.
Indeed, initial media coverage of events like the fall of Falluja and Mosul often portrayed the insurgent offensives as solely the work of Isis. The perception is fed by Isis’ social media output that puts great weight on holding parades and raising the banner in assertions of power.
However, it cannot be denied that Isis is at least leading the majority of moves into new territory to wrest control from government forces. This is partly because Isis is better equipped, having seized advanced weaponry and uniforms from security forces over the past couple of years.
Excerpt from an interview with and ISIS commander and analysis by the BBC confirm there is an uncomfortable but formidiable alliance beteen the Sufi Sunni Naqshbandi (old Ba’thist) and ISIS. What is surprising is that the propaganda of ISIS and Caliphate seems to resonate in Western and Arab media. There is hardly any mention of Izzat Ibrāhīm al-Dūrī and other groups playing the most significant part in ISIS takeover of Mosul and other key Iraqi cities in the North and West.
Which way does the oil flow should alway be kept in perspective:
The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) has nearly finished constructing its own oil pipeline to the Turkish border, hoping to export Kurdish crude and secure a guaranteed revenue source independent of Baghdad.
Clearly it was in the interest of Kurds and the old Ba’thist to create a victory for ISIS and let them be the boogie men. The propaganda for ISIS has been so strong that role of Ba’thist and Kurdish interests have been largely ignored.
What does the mean for Saudi Arabia and other Gulf Monarchies ?
Jordan and Saudi Arabia maybe the next targets for and ISIS type move. We have already seen some evidence of pro ISIS groups forming under the dis affected former intelligence chief of Bahrain:
A former Bahraini intelligence official is reportedly conducting activities to set up a Bahraini branch for the so-called Islamic State of Iraq and Levant to act against the pro-democracy opposition in the tiny Persian Gulf country.
According to a report by the Manama Post, Colonel Adel Jassim Flaifel, a former colonel in the State Security and Intelligence Service of Bahrain, is forming the branch with participation of extremist Salafi figures.
The model of the ISIS success in Iraq can easily be duplicated in Saudi Arabia and other Gulf monarchies. The adoption to a Wahhabi Salafi or Deobandi population could be easier for ISIS or an ISIS type group.
For a hundred years Saudi deep Wahhabi State has been teaching their youth hatred of Christians, Jews, Sufi Sunni and Shia.
The Wahhabi Koran is notable in that, while Muslims believe that their sacred text was dictated by God and cannot be altered, the Saudi English version adds to the original so as to change its sense in a radical direction. For example, the opening chapter, or surah, is known as Fatiha, and is recited in Muslim daily prayer and (among non-Wahhabis) as a memorial to the dead. The four final lines of Fatiha read, in a normal rendition of the Arabic original (such as this translation by N.J. Dawood, published by Penguin Books): Guide us to the straight path, / The path of those whom You have favored, / Not of those who have incurred Your wrath, / Nor of those who have gone astray.
The Wahhabi Koran renders these lines: Guide us to the Straight Way. / The Way of those on whom You have bestowed Your Grace, not (the way) of those who have earned Your Anger (such as the Jews), nor of those who went astray (such as the Christians). The Wahhabi Koran prints this translation alongside the Arabic text, which contains no reference to either Jews or Christians.

Shia’s and Sufi Sunnis (which make up 90 percent of the Muslim World) are considered sinners because they revere shrines and show affection towards architecture associated with holy Prophet Muhammed PUBHP or his descendants. The Saudi Wahhabis consider this heresy (shirk). After taking over Mecca and Medina in 1925 Saudi family and Takfiri Salafi proceeded to destroy the Baqi cemetery including graves of the daughter of the prophet and her sons. They stopped short of destroying the famous Green Dome or the shrine of Prophet PUBHP and the Black rock of Kaaba. They stopped because they were feared a backlash from Sunni and Shia Muslims.
ISIS type groups are taking this the next step and advocating the destructions of stones (Kaaba) :
A member of the militant group Islamic State in Iraq and al-Sham (ISIS), which recently dubbed itself simply, The Islamic State, has declared that they will destroy the Kaaba in Mecca, Saudi Arabia, which is Islam’s most holy site.
APA quoted ISIS member Abu Turab Al Mugaddasi based on reports from Turkish media, who said:
If Allah wills, we will kill those who worship stones in Mecca and destroy the Kaaba. People go to Mecca to touch the stones, not for Allah.

The looming succession crisis in Saudi Arabia makes it the most prime target for one or more of the thousands of potential candidates for the top slot to support an ISIS type situtation or expansionion of the current IS caliphate. A radically trained Wahhbi Salafi population is in Saudi Arabia is rich hunting ground for young volunteers and suicide bombers.
Implications for the US:
The forces in motions to created Salafi Wahhabi or Deobandi bad lands are simply too powerful. They are being horizontally integrated and empowered through social media. We can see them all over the world including United States, Europe, Africa, the Middle East and even the traditionally peacful far eastern Muslim Countries like Indonesia and Malaysia..
America should accept that over time most of the Arabian Peninsula with become bad lands of Al Qaeda type states or even worse just one Caliphate.
American should rely on North and South American oil only. This can be managed through a controlled transition or it will be forced upon America.
It is likely that unplanned and prolonged disruptions to the Saudi controlled oil reserves could indeed put further pressure on the demand for the US dollar as oil may trade in non dollar denominated currencies triggering bond market crises or even worse a complete collapse of the dollar based reserve currency system.
